Vinland Saga director hints at anime season 2

A DRAWING ON TWITTER CONFIRMED FANS' SUSPICIONS ABOUT A 2ND SEASON

Vinland Saga was one of the community's favorite anime last year, and fans had little doubt about a second season.

However, so far we still have no official confirmation.

However, this does not mean that the people involved have disengaged from the subject, as the anime director recently published a drawing of three quite familiar characters.

Through his Twitter account , Shuhei Yabuta showed a panel starring Thorfinn, Askeladd, and Canute in which they talk about the 2 season of Vinland Saga .

The trio have a conversation about the future that awaits them:

Also, according to Comicbook, in the runes that were added to the drawing it is possible to read ' Sea Son Two ' which sounds exactly like ' season two ' or 'season two'.

As you can see, everything indicates that season 2 of Vinland Saga is closer than we think, with these clues more than clear from the director through his Twitter.

On the other hand, it is not the first time that we hear news about the next episodes.

In December 2019, a rumor emerged about the production of this anime, with Spytrue as the source of the information, who is a fairly recognized and successful leaker within the industry.

Considering that WIT Studio passed the baton to Studio MAPPA as far as Attack on Titan is concerned, it seems they will have enough time to dedicate themselves to the next big production of 2021.

And Vinland Saga has all the earmarks of being the chosen work.
